Updates
Whenver the site is updated, added to, or changed in any way, there is a record made of the change. This is that record.
2009
May 22, 2009 - And so officially ends the Ten Years of Tensided celebration! To be honest, not much happened. There were still Tensided Tales (roughly) every Monday, but there were no Tensided Chronicles (I don't even remember what that was going to be). We had regular campaigns, but I haven't jumped back into GMing. I don't know when I will at this point. And the surprise(s) I thought were going to happen have been delayed indefinitely. Oh well. As for this particular update, I have upgraded the forum software from phpBB2 to phpBB3. I also finally added links at the bottom of the page for the comic. I can't believe I never did that before.
2008
January 01, 2008 - And so officially begins the Ten Years of Tensided celebration! I updated almost every single page on the website (mostly minor tweaks, corrections, and a few deletions), but don't feel like you have to rummage through them all to see what's changed (unless you really want to, that's up to you). While I don't foresee a major site overhaul this year (I rather like this design, and it's pretty clean and easy to use and update), I can't count it out entirely. Expect Tensided Tales to continue every Monday, and a new feature: Tensided Chronicles. We'll still run regular campaigns, and I intend to return to the ranks of Tensided GMs in 2008. Finally, expect a few surprises (and I'm not talking about an April Fool's Day joke). 2008 is the Year of Tensided. It's going to be awesome.
2007
March 31, 2007 - Wow, it's been forever since I've updated the site, and even longer since I've updated the log of changes. Since then, a couple campaigns ended, a couple started and completed, and we've started some new campaigns, so that page has been modified heavily. There was a minor change to the About Us page, a major overhaul to the Rules page so everything is simpler and easier to access, a new link on the Links page, and a product has been added to the Store. A link to our host, Dreamhost, has also been added to every page on the site. I've also acquired the domain of www.tensided.com, something which has eluded me since the site began (or at least since the system became officially known as Tensided). The site is now fully hosted there, but the tensidedrpg.com domain will still work just fine. Finally, since it's almost been a year since we moved to Dreamhost, and even longer since the redesign, the appropriate changes were made to the front page. The four year anniversary of the site is soon approaching, we've had over 12000 hits, and next year we will celebrate Ten Years of Tensided. It's all very exciting.
2006
May 17, 2006 - After months of neglect, both the Rules and Campaigns pages have been updated. We started two new campaigns, and all the character sheets and some logs have been linked to. There are a number of new rule documents to check out as well.
January 31, 2006 - The end of an era. After more than a year of playing, SDN3 has finished (and with 80% of the original players, to boot). This means a minor change to the Campaigns page, as SDN3 moves from "Active" to "Inactive." The High-Fantasy campaign has also been added as "Pending."
2005
December 2, 2005 - Changed the .png files to .gifs. They weren't displaying correctly in IE, and were larger than the corresponding gifs, so the images load faster now, and display correctly in all browsers.
November 27, 2005 - TensidedRPG.com relaunches with a brand new look, but with the same great information. Along with the new design, the behind the scenes organization of the site has been streamlined, to make the site flow better.
November 17, 2005 - I added a Brief History of TensidedRPG.com to the Stuff page, complete with pictures. I guess it's really a visual history, as I was trying to show how the look of the site has changed over it's nearly 2 and a half years online. That little trip down memory lane got me thinking about how the site looks now, and don't get me wrong, I really like it, but it seems like I'm always hassling with the design when I'm trying to add content. Without going into too much tech-head detail, this template simply doesn't allow for lots of text; or at least, I don't know enough HTML to modify it so it does. So I've been looking for a new design, and I've found one that I like. Unlike previous redesigns, I'm not going to unveil it until everything works, as keeping the site functional is much more important than what it looks like. So stay tuned, true believers!
November 2, 2005 - Lots of updates that have been a long time coming. Minor text changes to the FAQ page, added some superhero documents to the source page, as well as some cyberpunk docs, and old west docs for the upcoming Wild West campaign. For those interested in that, I'm going to GM an 1880s Wild West game after both SDN3 and Serenity Springs are done. I also added links for a bunch of supplemental material, all G&G and Western stuff. Finally, I updated the campaign logs and added some very-much-work-in-progress transcription docs for all the campaigns so far (besides the one for SDN2 that was already finished and in PDF form). Now it's time for sleep.
July 4, 2005 - Happy Independence Day to our North American (specifically, U.S.) friends. I've been somewhat neglecting the website for awhile, as nothing was really moving or shaking. But now, the Superhero supplement is available, so we're finally going to get going with Serenity Springs. The template character sheet is available, as is the supplement itself, in a rough, but usable, version.
April 17, 2005 - SDN4 finished today, so I moved the information for it to the Campaign Archive page, and put up info on the upcoming Super campaign.
April 15, 2005 - The Links page has been updated, specifically with a sub-page where you'll find link banners for this site. If you've got a webpage that is strangely devoid of Tensided links, go grab a banner and rectify the situation.
April 14, 2005 - Minor updates today include a re-alignment of the link bar images (the mouse-over images weren't perfectly centered on the plain image, but now they are), and the addition of a bookmark image, or "favicon" is it's called. It's the number 10, of course. I tried an actual d10, but since I'm limited to 16x16 pixels, it looked terrible.
April 3, 2005 - So that'd be an April Fool's. I had a lot of fun with this, even though I only got two of you. The rest of youse need to check the site more often. Even so, this was the best April Fool's prank I've ever pulled, as I've never gotten anyone dead to rights before. So thanks for indulging me and not getting bent out of shape. You can see the entire joke, exactly as it was presented, right here. The only changes are the addition of the word "joke" into the page titles, and I broke all of the links to pages that weren't changed. As you can see, I changed virtually the entire site to conform to the "Relaunch." By the way, we will relaunch eventually, but we won't be charging for it. And that's no joke.
April 1, 2005 - Major update here at the site. We've officially Relaunched Tensided! The rules have been rewritten, and are finally done and available for purchase from the Source page. Hope you enjoy, and tell all your friends. Tensided: It's not just a Game, it's an Experience™.
March 27, 2005 - Hope you all had a safe and Happy Easter, if you're into that. Made a bunch of rather minor changes to most of the pages, text changes, cleaned up some links, added some more description. I added some links to program downloads on the Links page (OpenOffice and Acrobat Reader), and added 2 new questions and answers to the FAQ.
March 24, 2005 - I finally had an afternoon free, so I decided to change the nav bar. Along with adding sorely-needed links to the FAQ and the forum, I changed the blurry-to-clear mouse-over javascript to a more user-friendly white-to-green mouse-over effect. The result is that if you're surfing the site without Java enabled, you can actually read the nav bar. I also did a bit of redesign to the front page logo and the logo on the side of every content page. That wave thing was a remnant of the pagekit I used for the site redesign, and it had worn out its welcome.
March 19, 2005 - I was having some trouble with the formatting for the About page, so I split it into two parts. There is now a FAQ and a Creators page, both of which can be reached by links on the About page. That makes another thing I need to change about the nav bar at the top of the screen. I need to add a FAQ link, a Creators link, and I need to change Mods to Supplements. I've been putting it off since I figured I'd probably need to change something else about the nav bar, and I'd rather make whatever changes all at once. Next time I'm sitting around with nothing to do, I'll tackle that. Oh, one more thing I wanted to mention. If you're new to the site, and feel like saying hello, visit the forum and make a post.
March 16, 2005 - Since we're getting pretty steady traffic now, and at least 50% of it isn't from our recurring players, I realized that the site wasn't very forthcoming with information. So I added explanatory blurbs to all the pages that didn't have any. If you're visiting the site for the first time, welcome. I hope your stay is a pleasant one, and if you like what you see, please tell your friends.
February 21, 2005 - Added the latest character sheet links to the Campaigns page (for SDN4), and updated the info for that campaign (as we're underway, now). Also added a few links to the Supplements page for Spotting and Modified Magic. EDIT: W00T!! We rolled right past 3000 hits and I didn't even notice.
February 9, 2005 - Minor text changes to the Source and Stuff pages, added links to the forum on the Campaigns and Links pages, and removed the link to the Modern Weapons supplement, as it is hopelessly out of date. I could have swore I removed it once before, but oh well. EDIT: Added links to newest versions of the magic system, weapons tables, and B&B weapons and equip guides on the Supplements page.
February 5, 2005 - Hot...Diggity...Diz-amn! Check this shit out. That's a fucking phpBB board, that is. Registration works, I made Art an account (you know what the password is, buddy) to make sure it did. Go ahead and sign up and make a post to say hello! Of course, if you can't register, or post, or something like that, let me know via e-mail. WOOT!!
February 2, 2005 - Groundhog Day. Also, my parents wedding anniversary. 36 years today. Damn, that sounds like forever. Anyway, since the last news post, SDN3 has rolled right along, and now we're gearing up for SDN4 (finally, woot). There's now a link to the B&B Template Character Sheet on the Source page, the Big Book of B&B has been updated (and will continue to be brought up to spec over the coming weeks and months), and I updated the Campaigns page with the most recent information. I made my character for SDN4, so you noobs may want to mosey on over there and check it out.
January 1, 2005 - Nothing major, just pointing out that CorSec's character sheets for SDN3 were recently updated, since he e-mailed me to let me know they were out of date. Oh, and Happy Saturday, or New Year, or whatever the fuck. EDIT: Goddammit, I'm going to do that for the next 2 months, I wrote "January 1, 2004" the first time I uploaded this. Grrrr. EDIT 2: I just realized that this page was different from all the others in that the tables were sized differently. This resulted in the main text table being moved down and slightly indented, rather than in the same position as it is on all the other pages. How the hell long was it like that? That had to be fucking annoying. Well, it's fixed now.
2004
December 31, 2004 - Added links to all of the character sheets for SDN3 to the Campaigns page. Not all of them are finished, but those are the canon sheets, i.e. if your character sheet says something different, the one listed on the campaigns page takes precedence. So if the one we have isn't up to date, e-mail it to us. Also, as this is the last day of 2004, if you drink, please don't drive. See youse guys next year.
December 21, 2004 - While it looks pretty much exactly the same, there's been a major change behind the scenes. I restructured the entire directory structure, from something that was barely coherent into something that makes perfect intuitive sense. Needless to say, this required breaking and then re-linking all of the links to downloadable content, so if you had a particular document bookmarked, it won't work anymore. I suggest refreshing a page before you try to download a file, chances are your browser is using the old cached version where the links don't work. I also put up an archive of character sheets from old campaigns. I'm still working on the SDN1 campaign log.
December 19, 2004 - Added Steve and Jack's character sheets to the Source page. Also added a link to the Prologue for the SDN3 campaign on the Stuff page. I'm going to work on logging all of the IC text from the original, "one that started it all" SDN1 campaign, so keep an eye out for that. 3 consecutive campaigns involving 5 of the same players (albeit with different characters). That's a first for us. Hot shit.
December 18, 2004 - Made updates to the About, Source, and Mods pages. A few text changes, a few outdated links updated, a few repetitive links removed. We're gearing up for the "SDN3" campaign, and all signs point to having a orientation session the day after Christmas (which would be December 26). So if you were holding off on making characters, now is the time to proceed.
November 30, 2004 - It's been a while, and there have been a few minor changes that I haven't been putting news posts up for. Things like text changes on all the pages, and such. But there have also been a few major changes. First, the SDN2 Cyberpunk campaign came to an end. The entire story of that campaign is available on the Stuff page. Also, links to the latest versions (3.13) of the Big Books are on the Source page. Very soon (possibly later today), the new and improved version of the Template Character Sheet will be available from Source. Also, and most exciting, we're gearing up for two concurrent campaigns: one cyberpunk and one fantasy. Find all the details on the Campaigns page. EDIT: The Template and Example Character Sheets are now available for download.
August 15, 2004 - Again, there's been work done on the Big Book (both of G&G and B&B), although I'm not sure if there's a link for the B&B book. I'll put one up if there isn't. Also, a new session of the Cyberpunk campaign has been posted. I also consolidated the existing logs into one big log.
July 21, 2004 - There's been a few updates to the Big Book in the past few weeks that I forgot to mention, so download the latest version, available from the Source page, as always. We also had another session of the Cyberpunk game, a transcription of which is on the Stuff page. It's shaping up to be a pretty damn cool campaign, if you ask me. We still only have 4 players, so if you're interested, e-mail me or Art.
July 8, 2004 - Ok, I fixed the News Archive, so everything works on those pages now. I also updated all the mods links to supplements, but I haven't changed the image yet. I'll do that tomorrow, probably. I also made a minor change to the supplements page. And I fixed the alignment on the links page. It looked shitty before, I don't know what the hell it was doing, but it's fixed now. I added a link to the SDN thread about Tensided, and last but not least, I made certain links (like the news archive, and the sites on the links page) open in new windows. Oh yeah, and the Big Book's been updated too. Who loves ya, baby?
July 7, 2004 - Holy shit, this site's one year anniversary passed me right by and I didn't even notice. Time for a major change, then: You've probably already noticed the News Archive links right above there. It's not spectacular, but it's something. Also, there are no mods anymore. When the system was called Blades and Barmaids, a mod like Guns and Glory made sense. But now, B&B and G&G are really just variations of the Tensided rules. Instead of mods, there will now be Supplements (ie the Cyberpunk Supplement). When I have a weekend afternoon free, I'll change all the "Mods" links to "Supplements" but don't expect that to happen right away. So there are now two available Supplements on the Mods page. The Big Book, as always, can be found on the Source page.
EDIT: Goddammit, all the images are broken on my new archive pages. Fuck it, I ain't fixing it right now, I got shit to do.
July 6, 2004 - Hope everyone had a safe, if not sober, holiday weekend. Quick update today, I added a link to Xak's character sheet, updated the link to the Big Book (v3.0, bitches!), and updated the Stuff page for the first time since the redesign. That's it for now.

2004 Continued
June 30, 2004 - I rearranged the Source page so everything is more organized. If you're participating in the new cyberpunk campaign, get your character sheets to us and I'll link to them. Game this Saturday, at 2pm PST if I remember correctly. Oh, and as it turns out, the new cover rules didn't work out. Neither did the range rules. The range rules have been fixed, but cover is kind of in limbo. I also updated the Campaigns page, now that we actually have a campaign going again.
June 21, 2004 - Well, it's not the Big Book v3.0, but it's close. Head over to the Source page and get the Big Book v1EC (which stands for Extreme Crap). Everything up to and including the section on Cover is readable and complete. Anything after that, read at your own risk. At the very least, you can now make characters using the EC rules as they currently stand. And we've playtested everything except the new Cover rules, but I think they'll work out well. For reference, I've posted Dirk's sheet as it stood at the end of the cyberpunk campaign, and a version of Dirk that was recreated using the new rules. Quite a difference, the old version is cluttered and shitty, whereas the new version is cleaner and streamlined. So what the holy hell are you waiting for? Get your ass to Mars!
June 20, 2004 - Happy Father's Day! Tell your Dad you love him, and if you have kids, I hope they treat you like a king today. Another minor update, but in anticipation of a new campaign, I've posted links to some old character sheets on the Source page. It's going to be a cyberpunk campaign using the Guns and Glory rules, played with OpenRPG, so check out the link in the previous news item if you're interested. Also, I added a link to the OpenRPG site on the Links page.
June 11, 2004 - Very minor update, but I was looking over the news and there was supposed to be a link at the bottom of the page to Josh Richardson's fan fiction, but there wasn't. There is now, and it's also on the Links page. It's SW fan fiction, and it's damn good, so go check it out. Also, let us know here if you're interested in a forum campaign using the new rules (once they're finished, that is).
June 10, 2004 - Aw hells yeah, it's the new website, bitches! Everything should work just like it used to, except for our e-mail addresses. The old addresses, just like the old domain, will only last a few more weeks, so don't send shit to those addresses anymore, k? As for the new rules, Justin doesn't have any summer school classes next week, so he should be able to finish them up before the week is out and post em. So look for that. And don't forget to tell your friends about Tensided. Remember: it's the only pen and paper RPG that doesn't suck monkey cock!
June 09, 2004 - I've got some whoop-ass news: in a few days, this site will reside at its new home located at www.tensidedrpg.com. The link obviously doesn't work right now, as I just submitted the order a few minutes ago, but holy shit this is exciting. This domain (bladesandbarmaids.net) will exist for another 3 weeks or so, so update your favorites, cause it won't last long. Tensided, baby. Tell your friends!
UPDATE: Sometime later today the new domain should be up and running. If I have time tonight once it's up, I'll transfer the site over and it'll be good to go. BTW, Justin has been working on finalizing the new versions of both Tensided and the G&G mod (the latter which we're playtesting right now, and it's damn sweet), so I'll let you know when that's finished and hit you with a link. Maybe once that shit's done, we can get another online campaign going.
May 19, 2004 - For the first time since I was 5, I am not a student. Damn it feels good. Anyway, made some minor updates to the About and Campaigns page. I was thinking of adding pictures to the About page, but it's a pain in the ass to do that in Notepad (Dreamweaver isn't installed right now), and I don't have a decent picture of myself anyway, so I'll wait on that. Black Gallagher, bitch!
May 12, 2004 - Holy shit, it's been a long time since the last update. School just grabbed a hold of me and refused to let go. But now that's over bitches! All my assignments are in, all my finals have been taken, and commencement is this Saturday. Woot, baby, woot. Anyway, I'll have the time now to actually make this site functional. The first step: adding a link to the rules. Hit the Source link and download that good stuff. More to come in the next few days, so stay tuned.
February 29, 2004 - No real update, just a note. I know it's been a while since there was any activity here, but I've had school stuff to worry about. However, for the next month, I've only got one exam, and only a handful of other work I have to do, so hopefully I can find the time to add more content. One other thing, somewhere around the end of June/early July, I'm going to transfer the site to a new domain. I don't want to say what it is just yet, cause I don't some asshole squatting it, but once I purchase it, you'll be the first to know. That said, have a nice day, and see you in March.
February 06, 2004 - Yo it out check! New site's up. Not all the content's been transferred over yet (in fact, there's not a whole hell of a lot of content period here yet, but hey), but I was so excited about the new design that I had to unveil it before it was fully completed. I'm probably not going to be working on the site this weekend, cause I've got a lot of school shit to do, so yeah. New site, wootage!
February 05, 2004 - Man, so many things happened between the last news update and now, I don't know where to start. My last semester of classes started, and this semester promises to be both fun, exciting, and hairpulling. Still haven't finished the extra-special wow-wow thing, and who knows when I will. The Super Bowl was last weekend, and while I would have much preferred a Colts-Eagles game (or a Colts-Panthers game), and I certainly would have loved to see the Patriots lose, it was a pretty damn good game nonetheless. As for the "incident" that everyone else is still talking about, let's just say that that's a whole other rant (and no, I don't agree with the idiots that are having a fit over it, just to be clear). I also realize that the front page has said that the new site is coming soon for quite a while now, and I haven't even started working on it. Well, I actually did a while ago, but it was crap, and it went bye-bye anyway when I reformatted my hard drive. Speaking of computers, I built a new one for myself. It's one of those small form factors, and damn if it isn't sweet. Anyway, before this turns into a 20 minute spiel, I'll end it. I'm looking for a super rad web template for the new site design, and trying to get the friggin hit counter on the front page to show up. Anyone else having trouble with it? Drop me a line and let me know. UPDATE: I got the counter to work. W00t! Actually, I didn't get it to work, I just got a new counter. *cheesy smile* Of course, you should visit the "Eddie Bauer Outlet" or whatever the hell. Keep my counter free! *rolls eyes*
January 04, 2004 - For what it's worth, Happy New Year, everybody. I've saved this rant for a while, but I think now is the time to use it. I just don't get holidays. I don't understand the excitement, the parties, or just the general bullshit that surrounds holidays. Some holidays have presents, some have parties with drinking/socializing, some have cute little love notes, some have parades, and pretty much all of em give you the day off work. All of them have something in common though: I hate every single one of em. Especially New Years, though. What a pointless fucking holiday if I ever saw one. I mean, come on, so it's a "new year"? So fucking what? It's just another end of a day and beginning of another. The most significant thing about it is you have to buy a new calendar. And yet, we act as if it's the biggest fucking day of the year (besides Christmas, of course, which is a whole other rant). We have to stay up til midnight to "watch the new year come in" with Dick Clark and a bunch of drunken fucks in Time Square, usually at a party with another bunch of drunken fucks we could give two shits about, who are just going to turn around and drive home, getting themselves and others killed in the process. Don't get me wrong, the annual highway death bowl isn't the main reason I hate New Years, it's just something else to hate about this "holiday". But anyway, the new year is a nice breaking point, so I divided the news into two pages: last year's, and this year's. Who knows why you would want to read old news, but it's there if you get the inclination. I continue to work on the special reward/commemoration-type thing for the 1000 hit mark, so that's coming sooner or later. The new semester (and my last, woo-fucking-hoo) starts on Monday the 12th, so this week is my last week of vacation. Hopefully I can finish the special thing before I start back, because I have a feeling this is going to be my most time-consuming semester ever. One more thing, my good buddy from high school, Josh Richardson (if you've checked out the Gaming Moments page, you'll recognize his name), is in the process of writing some fan fiction based (I assume) on his experiences with Star Wars Galaxies. Check it out. Wow, I think that's the longest news post ever. As if that's an accomplishment. ;)
2003
December 25, 2003 - "It's Christmas time in Hollis, Queens." For those who celebrate, Merry Christmas! For others, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, and whatever else, Happy Holidays. My family celebrates Christmas, and I think it sucks. I say Festivus for the rest of us! Anyway, no update, since my comp got fuxxored by a virus and my only respite was to reformat the HDD. Thank god Justin's got a backup of the site on his comp (of course all the files are on lowesthosting's server, but if it got hacked and we didn't have a backup, that would be bad), so I'm going to back up the site again on mine asap. I'm still working on that special something to commemmorate the 1000 hit mark. It'll be sweet. Now if I only knew what it was...
December 02, 2003 - Quadruple digit hits, baby! W00T!! I wish I could do something special right now to commemorate the occasion, but schoolwork is currently kicking my ass. Little less than 2 weeks left before I'm done, and that vacation can't come fast enough. In the meantime, I'll think of something cool to do. Man, 1,000 hits, that's great. Next landmark: 10,000. ;)
November 28, 2003 - Added another entry to the Gaming Moments page. That's about all I can think of currently. I'll have to wait until Justin gets back and I can talk with him about that stuff. I'm sure there are a lot more that I'm forgetting.
November 27, 2003 - Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! If you don't celebrate the holiday, then Happy Thursday! Anyway, I updated the Gaming Moments page with a few gems. We also creep ever nearer the 1000 hit mark. Sweetness.
November 11, 2003 - Long time, no updates. This is more of a note than an update, really, but so what? We passed the 900 hit mark recently! When we get to 1000, we'll throw a party with...blackjack, aaaand hookers! Well, actually, it'll probably just be something I post on the site to commemorate the occasion. But if you wanna have a party, I'm not gonna stop ya. Anyway, fixed a weird error on this page, two updates down. If you noticed it and didn't say anything, first of all, shame on you, but second of all, was it there all along, or did it get screwed up in a previous update? Oh well, it's fixed now. Also, Art informed me that he's hard at work on B&B Version 3.0. Check it out. I do believe once 3.0 is finished, that's when the site will change. But what will it change to? If you look hard enough, you'll know...
October 08, 2003 - Added a page for the upcoming SDN Cyberpunk campaign.
September 30, 2003 - Finally fixed the images for the Gaming Moments button on a few of the pages. That was bugging the shit out of me, I don't know about you. Also added note to Home Page. You're gonna like the new site. Well, I hope you do, anyway. It's coming, sooner or later.
September 30, 2003 - Posted two versions of my short story, A Peek at the Life of an Outcast, on the Source page. The first one is unfinished, without an ending. The second is also unfinished, but has an ending (it's missing a piece that comes after where the first version stops, and before the ending begins, if that makes any sense). So, if you don't want the ending spoiled, get the first one. If you don't mind having the ending spoiled (and a small piece missing, really just a battle description), get the second one. Also added links to Björn's home page on the Links page, and to the Homecoming Chronicle on the Homecoming page.
September 29, 2003 - Art here. Version 2.591 is up, with mostly minor fixes. Everything that's new since 2.58 is still in blue.
September 28, 2003 - Art here. Version 2.59 is up, with some pretty important updates. It includes expanded fatigue rules, bleeding, and a new and easier way to calculate damage. Version 2.58 was posted over a week ago, but I forgot to tell you all about it :). In addition to new stuff being in blue font, any section that's known to be outdaded, wrong, or crappy is in red font.
September 14, 2003 - Hey, I came up with that something special. Added the Memorable Gaming Moments page, which is still very much a work in progress. Expect this to grow substantially in the near future. Enjoy!
September 08, 2003 - Art here. Version 2.572 of the Big Book is up with typo fixes and clarifications mostly, with important changes in blue.
September 07, 2003 - Woot, over 500 hits! I'd do something special, if I had an idea of what to do. Oh well. Added another hit counter to the front page, one that lets us count unique visitors (to get an idea of actual traffic).
September 03, 2003 - For those of you have become accustomed to (somewhat) regular updates, I'm sorry to say that will change for the next few months, at least until around mid-December. The reason being is that Justin (aka Art) is doing a semester abroad, specifically, in Santiago, Chile. Since I don't do the introduction of new rules/modifications (i.e. anything creative), B&B will remain stagnant until Justin returns. Campaigns will still be run, however, so if you're interested, just drop by in OpenRPG during the times listed on the campaigns pages and see what's happening. If you like it, you can join up.
August 23, 2003 - Art here. Version 2.571 of the Big Book is up. Fixed a few typos. Version 2.6 is coming soon with a new magic system.
August 21, 2003 - Art here. Version 2.56 of the Big Book is up. This is what 2.55 was supposed to be, but I got interrupted before I could finish working on it. Expanded example of play is done and properly in blue. By the way, I noticed that some of the pages need to be refreshed before new content can be seen, so if you go to a page and there's nothing new, refresh first to make sure.
Version 2.57 up. Minor changes only.
August 20, 2003 - Arthur Tuxedo here. Version 2.55 of the Big Book is up. This is only an interim version. Expanded example of play about half-done.
August 19, 2003 - Art again. Version 2.53 of the Big Book is up. Many inconsistencies ironed out, many updates in Chapter 4. Gerard speaking. Fixed the news update for August 18. One update entry per day is enough, Art. Updated Homecoming, Family Values campaigns. Added About Us page.
Art again. Version 2.54 up, Damage and Resistance clarified, other minor changes. From now on new or updated sections will be highlighted in blue so that regulars can easily see what's different.
August 18, 2003 - Arthur Tuxedo here. Updates to the Big Book today include: Version 2.5 - The Trait and Weakness system has received a much needed overhaul; Version 2.51 - Just fixed a couple of things I forgot about before. The template character sheet has also been minorly updated.
August 17, 2003 - Updated Family Values campaign, got rid of annoying entry/exit effects on the front page.
August 15, 2003 - Updated Family Values campaign. Special note: a big "Fuck you" goes out to Henk Boerboom, who owns (but doesn't operate) www.d10.com. My correspondence with ol' Henk can be found here (the e-mail reads in reverse chronological order, so scroll down to the bottom to read my first e-mail). Feel free to mail him with your thoughts about him and his plans to let d10.com languish by "investing" his money for many more years.
